Location and Accomodation
ISPASTER
Ispaster is a small village of approximately 700 inhabitants which is located in a coastal hill, alternating between low and sandy areas to cliffs. Ispaster consists of a small urban nucleus surrounded by neighborhoods of scattered baserris or farmhouses.
Ispaster has a beach (Ogeia) which depending on the year, it can either be rocky or sandy.

LEKEITIO
On the mouth of the river Lea stands the town of Lekeitio. Two wonderful beaches look out onto the island of San Nicolás, which can be reached on foot at low tide. Sitting on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea, it is a town of popular houses with a strong seafaring flavour, testimony to its origins as a fishing village. Standing next to these examples of traditional Basque architecture are Gothic gems such as the church of Santa María de la Asunción.

ACCOMODATION
OPTION 1- ACCOMODATION WITH LOCAL FAMILIESFamilies are carefully selected to accomodate our participants in either Ispaster or Lekeitio. Each participant will have his/her own single room or he/she will share with one of the local participants of same sex and age.
Breakfast and dinner will be provided by the host family (lunch will be at the camp).
OPTION 2- ACCOMODATION IN A TRADITIONAL BASERRI (FARM HOUSE)
A minimum of 10 people is required for this option, as the selected baserri usually operates as rural hotel and it would be closed for our use. In case there are less than 10 people, we will look for a similar accomodation but we cannot guarantee it. Double or triple rooms will be available and participants will be grouped according to sex and age.
The camp staff will overview all evening-night activities at the baserri.
Breakfast and dinner will be offered at the baserri (lunch will be at the camp).
